What is More Than A Handful?
Have you ever been described as ‘‘Too much’’, “Too intense”, ‘‘A lot to be around?” Have you had this feeling all of your life that you’re ‘‘problematic’’ and all you’re thinking is ‘‘I’m simply being myself’’! Then this newsletter is for you. I will show you how to bottle that *you* energy and keep enhancing it.
My whole life, I’ve been called ‘‘ too much’’ or a ‘‘handful’’ by friends and family and I have now realized it actually is our superpower.
Who are you?
I’m Jackie, a broadcaster, journalist and Podcaster and I’m “More than a handful” and I love it!
In fact, in support of my “too much” community, I’ve just presented a documentary for Channel 4 called 'My Big Boobs’ which explores the lives of young British women going through physical and psychological impacts of living with big breasts. The documentary received huge support from women across the country and I was lucky to have promoted the show with appearances on Steph’s Packed Lunch, Newsbeat and Women’s Hour. My interview with Newsbeat was the 5th most read article on the entire BBC website on the day of its release - which tells me I’ve hit a nerve!
I’ve also hosted the podcast Boobshare, in partnership with breast cancer awareness charity Coppafeel and produced by Global, where I spoke to celebrities about their relationships with their boobs. I’m also currently working on a brand new podcast drama series for A&E Network.
But as you’ll find out from this Substack, I love writing. I am a Metro columnist and have written loads about being “too much” as well as social and women-based issues. I have also written for the likes of the Evening Standard, Refinery 29, Stylist Magazine & Huffington Post.
When will I receive More Than A Handful?
